Texas Apostolic Prayer Network Bi-Regional Gathering
July 22-23, 2011
In April, Apostle Tom Schlueter of Texas Apostolic Prayer Network came out to Decatur to visit with us. As the evening progressed, Bro. Tom saw our heart for Wise County and understood the spritual struggles the people have had here in the past. So it began. He knew that to bring leaders from two regions, the Brazos and the Trinity Regions, which comprised 22 counties, to Wise County to stand with us for God's purposes here was a necessity. So this gathering was put on the calendar.
The leadership team felt from the beginning that we didn't need a hard and fast agenda, but just needed to hear from God for what was to take place. Most of this meeting was borne from the heart of those involved.
Friday night began with Harlan Wright played the keyboard and we worshipped, no team leading, no formal plan, just sitting in the presence of God and sharing what He shows us. State Rep. Phil King shared his heart and answered some questions, giving us a clear direction to pray for him and all politicians.
Saturday was no different, but very different from most Christian gatherings. Again, no formal plan, just a willingness to let God lead. Opening with a chorus of prayer, leading to teaching on Covenant, a covenant act, another teaching on the love of Jesus and unity, communion with no music, the closing of the door to the past, and finally a blessing from the leader. What an amazing time.
All of this led to a closing of a wound of division that has plagued this region for many years. Division that started with the settlers, and culminated with a hand full of people exchanging shoes on Saturday afternoon in Alvord, TX. This was just a visual representation of an act that was done in the book of Ruth as Boaz bought land. God used this simple act to heal a huge hole in the atmosphere here that has kept Christians divided in Wise County for a long time.
How amazing God is and what a blessing to host this amazing event. To hear both Friday night and Saturday sessions, go to http://nvministries.org/Podcasting.html.

60th Aniversary Chico County-Wide Revival
At the end of last year, the Lord told us to possess the Land. Let me explain.
Genesis 26:15-25
Now all the wells which his (Isaac’s) father’s servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines stopped up by filling them with earth. Then Abimelech said to Isaac, “Go away from us, for you are too powerful for us.” And Isaac departed from there and camped in the valley of Gerar, and settled there. Then Isaac dug again the wells of water which had been dug in the days of his father Abraham; and he gave them the same names which his father had given them. But when Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and found there a well of flowing water, the herdsmen of Gerrar quarreled with the herdsmen of Isaac, saying, “The water is ours!” So he named the well Esek, because they contended with him. Then they dug another well, and they quarreled over it too, so he named it Sitnah. And he moved away from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it; so he named it Rehoboth, for he said “At last the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”
Obviously, wells were important to life, and the location indicated possession of the land. When people would take over an area of land, they would fill up the wells dug by the previous owners, with rock and dirt, so they could not come back. This was a sign of taking over ownership.
So when Isaac returns to his father’s land, the first thing he does is re-dig the wells, obviously with much contention and struggle. Isaac was ‘repossessing’ his father’s land.
In the fall of last year, the Lord gave the WRPN instruction to possess the land. The enemy has had rulership over this region for too long. This is evidenced by the struggles many churches and godly people have had. Witchcraft, drugs, racism, lack, division, rebellion, etc., has ruled and it is time for it to be dispossessed. My heart has broken for some of the attacks the pastors, churches, and others have had here.
This county was originally settled by people who walked with God. Throughout it’s history, there have been several outpourings of the power of God. Afterwards, the enemy came in and took over, filled up the wells of revival and settled in. Our job, has been one of addressing the strongholds, breaking down what the enemy has done and taking our rightful place in the region, through prayer and seeking God.
In the instruction the Lord gave us to ‘repossess’, we were to ‘redig’ the ancient wells of revival to claim the presence of God, and as a result new wells would be dug. This is what happened with Isaac in Genesis 26. As he went in and began to redig the wells, there was a lot of contention. So we knew this wouldn’t be without struggle.
The Lord was specific. In telling us that as we visited the sites where His spirit has been poured out in the past, and as we prayed, seeking God, then He would pour out His spirit again in a new and mighty way. We didn’t know what this would look like or what would come about.
Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to meet with a man who has lived in the region since the 1930’s. He witnessed one of these outpourings in 1951 and actually had a copy of a flier from the event, pictured below on the left. Three area churches came together to have a tent revival in downtown Chico on July 9th of 1951. The event went on for weeks and many were saved, healed, delivered and the county was transformed as a result.

I knew we had the first location. But how? What needed to happen? It was committed to prayer.
At the end of March, I was at a service and the Lord gave a word about what was coming. Just part of the word was that there would be an out pouring of His spirit, the latter would be greater than the former, and God needed a catalyst for this event. Unbeknownst to me, God was giving a burden to a pastor in Chico to start having miracle services, and that was confirmed to him several times. We didn’t even know each other at the time.
Soon, a friend brought him into the prayer network and as we compared notes, I gave him a copy of the flier about the 1951 event. His heart was set on fire and so it began. So on July 8, 9, 10, Pastor Robert Cox or Living Waters Fellowship, hosted a celebration of the outpouring in 1951 on the city square in Chico where we will honor what God has done and what He is going to do. The flier is pictured above on the right. After doing some investigation, Pastor Robert found out that his church was actually planted as a result of that revival in 1951. God is so good.
By redigging the ancient wells, by celebrating what God has done, we are reestablishing the original covenant the founders made with God. As we do this in this region, and God’s spirit is poured out again, it digs new wells which expand into new areas and establishes a new covenant or commitment of the land to the Lord.
Removing the stones through prayer and tearing down strongholds recognizes and honors Gods ancient anointing and re-establishes habitation. Making the way through laboring in the spirit with prayer, opens the new wells for the fresh anointing and new things God wants to do and it gives us the direction to move forward. That is what these events are really about.
The real purpose of this event was to connect the people of Wise County with the presence of God. Not just in their churches, or homes, but in a corporate, community setting where even those who have never experienced it will see real evidence of it. Salvation will be foremost, with signs and wonders following all believers.
It was an amazing event with many coming each and every night, standing through the high temperatures, to celebrate what God is doing. Here are some pictures from this event. We were so honored at power and presence of God. Many were healed and delivered. God was doing some amazing stuff. Thank you so much for all of your support during this event. And we aren't done yet.

Prayerwalk - Full Life Fellowship, Decatur, TX
May 27, 2011
As the evening began, and the intercessors gathered, we knew it was going to be something special. This beautiful building and the surrounding land held a special surprise for us all. The walk began with everyone going in different directions. Pastor Chris and a few others anointed and prayed over the sign at the street, while most headed toward the creek at the back of the property.
As we all went to the back of the land, a very special word was given about breaking any curses that may have been on the land prior to FLF purchasing it. And as an act of faith, Pastors Christ and Linda tossed a small piece of a cedar tree in the creek as a sign of purification, just like the bitter waters being sweetened when a limb was thrown in.
Finally, after praying at the creek we went in and Harlan Wright played while we walked the building praying blessings. As the sun set, Pastor Chris blew the Shofar signifying the start of a new day. And the evening ended with prayers for the leaders of FLF and for God’s blessing. It was truly a special time for all and we can’t wait to see the fruit. God smiles down on Full Life Fellowship!!!

Prayerwalk - Cornerstone Church of Newark
May 6, 2011
What an amazing night as we gathered and sunset. 8 churches were represented, unified to bring hope to this precious church. Pastors Danny & Tina Slimp hosted as we walked the property and ended the night with praise & worship. The presence of God was there from the beginning. A church that had lost most of it's members struggled for direction, and with these churches coming together, declaring God's purposes and calling this church back to life, it ended in power. Thank you to Chris Williams of New Beginnings in Chico and his team who led us in amazing worship. For more information on Cornerstone, go to www.cornerstonechurchnewark.com. This is why we do what we do...dispensers of HOPE!!!
